This steering wheel upgrade is designed for pre-facelift Toyota 70 Series LandCruisers that did not come with steering wheel controls from factory. This commonly includes 76 Series, 78 Series, and 79 Series models with the older style wheel and no factory audio buttons.
No. The upgrade does more than improve the appearance of the wheel. It adds steering wheel controls to vehicles that never had them from factory, while also giving the interior a more modern finish.

For vehicles that came with factory cruise control, commonly DPF models, the system is relocated from the stalk to the physical buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. This creates a cleaner layout similar to the newer 300 Series style.

If an aftermarket cruise control kit is installed, you will need to contact Autostrada to arrange a compatible module replacement that supports the 300 Series style steering wheel buttons.

Different headunits communicate with steering wheel controls in different ways. Selecting your headunit allows us to supply the correct wireless control module kit for your setup so the buttons work correctly once installed.
