Faulty Items and Australian Consumer Law

Our returns policies do not limit other rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including in respect of faulty items.      

How to return a faulty item:

If you have purchased an item that was fulfilled by PVS Automotive that is faulty, you may return it to us in two ways:                             
  • If you are returning an item within 30 days from it being delivered, you can return the item to us.             
  •  If you are returning an item after more than 30 days of it being delivered, please contact us so we can determine if you are entitled to a remedy, including under the Australian Consumer Law. 
Where possible, please notify us of faulty items by contacting us within 30 days from receipt of delivery.

Faulty items do not have to be returned in their original packaging, but must be packaged appropriately to avoid damage during the return shipping process.  

Factors such as age, price, the item's condition and the disclosures made about the item may be relevant to your return and refund rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Consumer Law also applies to used and refurbished items.            

Customer Damage:

PVS Automotive is not required to accept any returned item that, as a result of customer negligence, misuse or tampering is, damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition.            

Shipping:

There are no return shipping fees for faulty items. In some cases where a pre-paid return option is not available, you will need to use a self-ship return method and pay for the return costs upfront directly to the carrier, however you can Contact Us to present the receipts and we will refund you the return shipping and re-packaging costs.
